นับเป็นการแข่งขันสนามที่ 6 ของศึก ไทย แอลพีจีเอ ทัวร์ ปี 2023 เล่นสโตรกเพลย์ 3 วัน 54 หลุม มีนักกอล์ฟต่างชาติจากทั้ง ฟิลิปปินส์, ญี่ปุ่น, มาเลเซีย และเกาหลีใต้ ร่วมการแข่งขันด้วย โดยเป็นแมตช์เก็บคะแนนสะสม ไทย แอลพีจีเอ ทัวร์ ออเดอร์ ออฟ เมอริต ประจำปี 2023 และสะสมคะแนน ไทย แอลพีจีเอ ทัวร์ พอยท์ 2023 เปิดโอกาสนักกอล์ฟทั้งระดับอาชีพ และสมัครเล่นได้พัฒนาฝีมือ นอกจากนี้ยังมีคิดคะแนนสะสมอันดับโลก "โรเลกซ์ วีเมนส์ เวิลด์ กอล์ฟ แรงกิ้ง" ให้กับนักกอล์ฟในทัวร์อีกด้วย
เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 5 พฤษภาคม 2566 เป็นวันสุดท้ายของการแข่งขัน โปรปลาย พัชรจุฑา คงกระพันธ์ นักกอล์ฟจาก จ.ขอนแก่น ออกสตาร์ทรอบสุดท้ายมีสกอร์ตามกลุ่มผู้นำ 1 สโตรก เปิดเกมเยี่ยมด้วยการทำเบอร์ดี้ตั้งแต่หลุมแรก ก่อนทำ 2 เบอร์ดี้ติดที่หลุม 13 และ 14 พลิกสถานการณ์ขึ้นมานำเดี่ยว และเก็บอีกเบอร์ดี้ที่หลุม 16 ทิ้งคู่แข่ง 2 สโตรกจนจบรอบนี้ด้วยผลงาน 4 อันเดอร์พาร์ 68 สกอร์รวม 10 อันเดอร์พาร์ 206 คว้าแชมป์แรกของซีซั่นให้ตัวเองสำเร็จ พร้อมรับเงินรางวัล 156,000 บาท และโทรฟี่แชมป์ "มากกว่าชัยชนะ" จากศิลปินเป่าแก้วจาก บีจีซี กล๊าส สตูดิโอ
แชมป์ เจ้าของดีกรีมือ 1 ทัวร์จากซีซั่นที่แล้ววัย 31 ปี กล่าวหลังจบเกมว่า "เป็นอีกแมตช์ที่เหนื่อยมาก ต้องตีชอตแก้ไขตลอด ดีที่สัปดาห์นี้ลูกสั้นทำได้ดี ต้องพยายามมีสมาธิอยู่กับตัวเอง และเกมตลอด เพราะอากาศร้อนจัด รวมถึงสถานการณ์บนลีดเดอร์บอร์ดที่คู่คี่สูสี ดีใจที่ทำสำเร็จ เพราะห่างหายจากการขึ้นมาลุ้นแชมป์หลายรายการ หลังจากนี้เตรียมลงแข่งขันในต่างประเทศมากขึ้น"
สุภมาส แสงจันทร์ นักกอล์ฟสาววัย 27 ปีจาก สุโขทัย ทำเพิ่มอีก 2 อันเดอร์พาร์ 70 สกอร์รวม 8 อันเดอร์พาร์ 208 คว้าอันดับ 2 รับเงินรางวัล 86,000 บาท ด้าน ภคิน กวินปกรณ์ และ ฐานิตา เมืองคำสกุล คว้าอันดับ 3 ร่วมด้วยสกอร์รวม 7 อันเดอร์พาร์ 209 แบ่งเงินรางวัลกันคนละ 61,500 บาท ขณะที่ ตรีฉัฐ จีนกลับ คว้าอันดับ 5 สกอร์รวม 6 อันเดอร์พาร์ 210 รับเงินรางวัล 51,000 บาท
ด้านนักกอล์ฟสมัครเล่นผลงานดีสุดเป็นของ อชิรญาณ์ ศรีวงษ์ นักกอล์ฟสมัครเล่นโครงการทีมชาติไทย จบอันดับ 13 ร่วม จากผลงาน 2 อันเดอร์พาร์ 214 พร้อมรับรางวัลตีไกลที่หลุม 11 ด้วยสถิติ 300 หลา ด้านรางวัลตีดีประจำวันเป็นกิ๊ฟ วอยเชอร์ มูลค่า 12,000 บาท จาก บริษัท บริษัท ลีโอเนียน (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด โดยรอบแรกเป็นของ พัชรจุฑา คงกระพันธ์ จากผลงาน 6 อันเดอร์พาร์ 66 รอบที่ 2 เป็นของ ชลชีวา วงษรัศม์, ฐานิตา เมืองคำสกุล และ กมลวรรณ เหลื่อมศรี จากผลงาน 4 อันเดอร์พาร์ 68 และรอบที่ 3 เป็นของ ช่อผกา แจ้งกิจ สกอร์ 6 อันเดอร์พาร์ 66

Patcharajutar Regains Winning Form at Singha-BGC Classic
Patcharajutar Kongkraphan proved her status as the two-time No.1 player on the Thai LPGA Tour by winning the Bt1.56 million Singha-BGC Classic at Panorama Golf and Country Club in Nakhon Ratchasima on Friday, defeating Supamas Sangchan by two strokes.
With a one-shot deficit at the start of the day, the 2021-2022 Order of Merit winner delivered a stunning final-round performance, shooting a final 68 for a three-day total of 10 under-par-206 to capture her first title of the season and her 5th on the Thai LPGA Tour.
“Today was a tough day on the course, with the warm weather forcing me to drink lots of fluids to stay focused. Despite this, my short game has been consistently good throughout the week,” said the 31-year-old who has played at the course since she was 8.
“The course sets up in great condition but stills presents a significant challenge. Every time I play here, I always need to approach my game with a well-thought-out plan. I try to concentrate on my game, not worrying about what was happening on the leaders’ board that kept changing all the time,” added the victor who carded five birdies against a bogey in the final round.
Following her dominant performance in the final three events of the 2022 Thai LPGA Tour season, which culminated in a win in Prachuab Khiri Khan last September, Patcharajutar had yet to claim another victory until Friday. Nonetheless, she had managed to secure three top-three finishes in the first three starts of the current season.
“It's great to be back in the winner's circle again after a period of struggling with my form due to a lack of continuous competition. It took some time to tune myself up, but I faced my fears, overcame them, and regained my confidence. Playing in a real tournament is different from training, as you have to deal with pressure and unexpected situations,” said Patcharajutar, who earned Bt156,000 for her victory and received the 'Beyond Victory' trophy, designed by distinguished artist Nathakorn Kanitvaranu from BGC Glass Studio.
Patcharajutar herself will be competing in more overseas events starting next month, including tournaments in Taiwan, Beijing, and Shanghai. "I hope to carry this momentum and confidence into those tournaments," she added.
Supamas, the former No. 1 player in 2015, finished with a flawless 70 to secure second place with a total score of 8 under-par-208.
Thanita Muangkhumsakul, one of the overnight leaders, shot a 72 to take third place with 7 under-par-209, alongside Pakin Kawinpakorn who produced a stunning 67.
The next event on the Thai LPGA Tour, the Thai LPGA Classic with a total prize money of Bt1.2 million, will be held from June 7-9 at The Vintage Club in Samut Prakarn.
The Thailand Ladies Professional Golf Association provides an opportunity for both professional and amateur golfers not only to hone their talents, but also to accumulate points for the Thai LPGA rankings and Order pf Merits, and for the Rolex World Ranking points, which can open doors for their professional pursuit on a worldwide scale. The Thai LPGA Tour is supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand, National Sports Development Funds, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), BG Container Glass, Pathumthani Glass Industry, Boon Rawd Trading, Central Group, Leonian (Thailand), Muang Thai Life Assurance, Nikon Sales Thailand, AIS PLAY, Nestle (Thai) and Panorama Golf and Country Club.
Each Thai LPGA tournament is competed in a three-day stroke play format for a total of 54 holes. The tour features ranking points for the 2023 Thai LPGA Tour Order of Merits, 2023 Thai LPGA Tour points and the Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking points.
